The Awati project's annual average grid-connected electricity is 800,000 MWh, compared to an same sized coal-fired PV plant, it can save 240,000 metric tons of standard coal annually, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 620,000 tons and to reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 129 tons.
