On September 22, the DAS Solar Beihai 4GW high-efficiency PV module Phase I project has officially gone into operation in Guangxi province. As the first photovoltaic enterprise in Beihai, DAS Solar continues to take advantage of decentralized manufacturing, further enhancing the growth of the new energy industry with sustainable green energy.

Located in the Northern Gulf Economic Zone of Guangxi province, Beihai is an important city, serving as a starting point for the "Maritime Silk Road" as well as being among China's earliest ports for international trade. With its outstanding geographical advantages, Beihai boasts exceptional geographical advantages for distributing products between China provinces such as Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Sichuan, Hunan, and Hubei. DAS Solar’s Beihai Phase I project includes the construction of a manufacturing line for 10GW photovoltaic modules along with related facilities. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to generate approximately 10 billion yuan in annual output value, creating 600 jobs in Beihai.

As one of Tier 1 PV manufacturer, DAS Solar is dedicated to continuous exploration and rigorous research in N-type technology, consistently surpassing industry standards in cell and module efficiency. After years of dedicated research and development, DAS Solar has upgraded from TOPCon 1.0 to the latest TOPCon 4.0 cell technology. DAS Solar has received the National Photovoltaic Industry Measurement and Testing Center's certification report for the latest N-type high-efficiency large-area (333.4 cm²) solar cells with TOPCon 4.0 technology, which achieved an impressive cell efficiency of 26.33%, surpassing the previous world record set in May of 2023 of 26.24%. Furthermore, DAS Solar plans to bring into mass production TBC, SCPC, TSiX and SFOS cell technologies with an eventual high efficiency of over 40%.
