2023-06-12

DAS Solar, a top-tier brand in N-type technology, has supplied JEKUSOL GmbH with high-efficiency single glass modules. This commercial and industrial rooftop project was designed and executed by JEKUSOL GmbH and Schaeffler in Germany, and has been successfully connected to the power grid.

As one of the pioneers in the field of renewable energy, Germany has become the leading solar energy market within the European Union. According to local media reports, in 2022, solar power accounted for 11.4% of Germany's electricity consumption, with a per capita installation rate surpassing that of most countries, and this proportion continues to climb steadily. Projections indicate that by 2030, Germany's utilization of renewable energy will reach 80%.

Schaeffler is a German family-owned enterprise and a leading global manufacturer of rolling bearings and linear motion products. It is also widely recognized as a reputable supplier in the automotive manufacturing industry, actively engaged in the automotive, industrial, and aerospace sectors. With its specialized technical expertise in the complete powertrain systems (including engine, chassis, transmission, and auxiliary devices) for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, the Automotive Division of the Schaeffler has established itself as a reliable partner for nearly all automotive manufacturers and other major suppliers.

High-efficiency single-glass PV modules, supplied by DAS Solar, has been installed on the rooftop of Schaeffler's headquarters in Germany.
