DAS Solar lights the way for a sustainable energy future in Italy

2024-02-29

Remini, February 28, 2024 - DAS Solar, as one of the top-tier PV manufacturers, attended the Key Energy 2024 in Remini. It is a pivotal event for the Italian renewable energy sector. This is DAS Solar fourth appearance in Europe in two months after events in France, Spain, and Poland. DAS Solar showcased its latest N-type rectangular and DAS Black modules, catering to diverse needs and scenarios, at this exhibition.

According to Italia Solare, Italy's solar installation capacity reached 27.4GW by June 2023, with significant growth in commercial, industrial, and ground-mounted projects, indicating substantial market potential.

To better serve the goal of accelerating the local clean transition, DAS Solar brought its N-type bifacial double glass 72-cell rectangular modules, N-type bifacial double glass 72-cell modules, and N-type bifacial double glass 54-cell rectangular DAS Black modules to the Itlay market. In the sustainable photovoltaic ecosystem, DAS Solar has jointly launched the Initiative on Standardization of Rectangular Silicon Wafer Module Dimensions with several leading industry enterprises. Designed with optimal dimensions, rectangular modules offer benefits in efficiency, power output, manufacturing, processes, and transportation, resulting in lower system BOS costs and lower LCOE. DAS Solar is dedicated to continuous exploration and rigorous research in N-type technology, consistently surpassing industry standards in cell and module efficiency. DAS Solar has developed the TOCon 4.0 Plus high-efficiency cell that boasts an efficiency of 26.36% and an open-circuit voltage of 742mV, breaking the world record again. DAS Solar has achieved outstanding outcomes in terms of power generation efficiency, bifaciality, temperature coefficient, resistance to microcracking, and LID.

In addition, DAS Solar launched DAS Black modules in response to the significant growth of the Italian rooftop market for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. It is a exceptional match between the black frame and the dark roofing, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of rooftops.

Several DAS Solar photovoltaic modules have passed verification by the Italian EPD and completed the assessment and registration previously. This initiative will further facilitate DAS Solar's expansion into the Italian local market, enhance its international recognition, and make a positive contribution to global green and sustainable development. Aside from continuously improving its products from a research and innovation perspective, DAS Solar integrates ESG principles into every aspect of its production process. DAS Solar is currently showcasing its latest products at D6-046 at Remini Expo Centre until March 1, 2024.
